
DC Doda inspects revenue record; Discusses Law & Order issues in Thathri
Doda, October 19:
Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Mahajan paid an inspection of the Revenue Complex in Thathri and interacted with the officers of Sub Divisional administration, yesterday. DC, during his visit in the Revenue Complex also inspected the revenue record of the Thathri tehsil and instructed the revenue officers to encourage digital platforms for issuing revenue extracts and certificates for greater transparancy, efficiency, and accountability.

DC also reviewed the law-and-order issues in the Sub division Thathri in a meeting meeting with civil and police officials in Revenue Complex. DC reiterated that peace, harmony, and public support are prerequisites for inclusive development. While reviewing the drugs menace in the Sub Division, he expressed his satisfaction on the efforts of the sub divisional authorities in combating drug menace and urged the officials and sub-divisional magistrate to keep an eye on illegal sale/ purchase of psychotropic drugs by chemists and other drug peddlers.
Responsibility lies on the sub divisional authorities to stop smuggling of drugs by increasing vigilance and prompt action, DC told the officers during the meeting.Mahajan has asked all the officers in the subdivision Thathri to ensure all the essential services remain intact as per the earlier directions during the ensuing winter. He also reviewed the traffic congestion issue in Thathri Town and ordered to manage the traffic and discourage roadside parking of vehicles in the town.
He also directed the civil and police officers to join hands for removing illegal encroachments in the sub division.
