Iran-US Deal in Final Stage; Next 24 Hours Crucial, Says Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif

New Delhi, June 14, 2026 [VoM News]: Shehbaz Sharif said that the long-awaited agreement between Iran and the United States is in its final stage and that a major update could emerge within the next 24 hours.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that the peace process has reached its final phase, with efforts underway for the electronic signing of the agreement, followed by technical-level discussions next week.

While President Trump has announced in a truth Social post regarding signing of a historic long-awaited deal tomorrow. Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also signalled progress, stating that the proposed “Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding” had “never been closer.”

However, he cautioned that no final understanding could be confirmed until all pending issues were resolved.

Pakistan has played a key mediating role between Iran and the United States in recent months. It now remains to be seen whether any concrete development takes place tomorrow or if the expectations surrounding the proposed agreement prove premature.
