Japan Delegation Heading To Greenland For Accessing/Evaluating Rare Earth Minerals Extraction

Japan, June 14, 2026 [VoM News]: To access the possibility and probability of rare earth mineral extraction, a major development came into being as the Japanese delegation is heading to Greenland this summer as reported by Reuters.

The delegation would likely include officials from Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry accompanied by the representatives of global trading companies.

It has been also reported that members of Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security would be also in delegation.
