Ex Minister Majid Wani to Contest from Doda East, Mehraj Malik from Doda || Saroori Missing from the candidates list
As the first phase of elections in Jammu Kashmir is going to commence from September 18, Amid confusion and political shunout, the Democratic Progressive Azad Party and Aan Admi Party have announces candidates for the assembly constituencies.
Democratic progressive Azad party (DPAP), announced the list of 13 candidates for assembly constituencies, whereas Aam Aadmi party (AAP), releases the first list of candidates for seven assembly constituencies.

Democratic Progressive Azad Party has fielded former Minister Abdul Majid Wani from Doda East, where the confusion is still going on regarding the announcement on hotseat Doda West.
For Bhaderwah assembly constituency, Mohd Aslam Ganai will contest from Bhaderwah, Mohd Amin Bhat (Ex MLA) from Devsar, DDC Member Adv Saleem Parray from Doru, Muneer Ahmed Mir from Lolab, DDC Member Bilal Ahmed Deva from Anantnag west, Ghulam Nabi from Rajpora, Mir Altaf Hussain from Anantnag, Qaisar Sultan from Ganderbal, Gh Nabi Bhat from Eidgah, Amir from khanyar.
Nisar Ahmed Lone will contest from Gurez assembly constituency whereas, Hazrat Bal assembly constituency mandate has been given to Peer Bilal Ahmed.
Aam Aadmi party has fielded Mehraj Malik from Doda East, while Yasir Shafi matoo will contest from Doda West. Fayaz Sofi from Pulwama, Mudassir Hussain from Rajpora, Sheikh Fida Hussain from Devsar, Shafkat Mir from Dooru, whereas Mudassir Azmat Mir will contest from Banihal assembly constituency.
On Doda West assembly constituency, there has been a lot of confusion, internal issues, DPAP party, NC-Congress, neither PDP, nor BJP has yet announces the candidates list.
Some media reports says, Urfi wani will contest from Doda West assembly seat, while Pardeep Sharma may be finalised as alliance candidate.
