Power Shutdown Tomorrow: Doda, Bhaderwah, Thathri, Marmat to be Affected

Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced a power shutdown affecting several areas due to the execution of critical works. The affected areas include Doda, Bhaderwah, Thathri, Marmat, and their adjoining regions.

The shutdown is necessary for the twinning of Busbar work at the 132/33kv yard Grid Station Khellani. Consequently, the power supply will be interrupted in Marmat, Bhaderwah, Doda, Thathri, and nearby areas. This disruption is scheduled for August 10 and 11, from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Additionally, the thickening of the 33kv Tanda, Maria Mandrian line will affect areas such as Nardiwal, Barui, Mandrian, Kha, Maira, Thatar Mundh, Payan, and their surroundings. Power supply in these areas will be off on August 10 from 6:30 am to 12:00 noon.

JPDCL has noted that the power shutdown is subject to favorable weather conditions. The company urges residents and businesses in the affected areas to plan accordingly to mitigate the inconvenience caused by these necessary maintenance works.
