Key Highlights:

- The suspension of classes was due to a heatwave affecting the valley.
- Education officials stress the importance of continuous learning.
Srinagar, July 30: The Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, VK Bidhuri, announced today that primary schools across the region will resume normal operations starting tomorrow.
This decision comes after a brief suspension of classes due to a severe heatwave that had led to the closure of educational institutions for students up to the Primary level on July 29 and 30, 2024.
In a statement to Kashmir Dot Com, Bidhuri underscored the critical role of education in the development of students. He remarked, “Education is crucial, and continuous learning is a priority.”
This sentiment highlights the administration’s commitment to ensuring that students do not fall behind in their educational pursuits despite the recent interruptions caused by the extreme weather conditions.
The heatwave, which prompted the temporary closure of schools, has been a significant concern for both Government and Recognized Private Schools in the valley.
By resuming classes on July 31, educational authorities aim to mitigate any potential disruptions to the academic calendar and help students regain their regular learning routines.
The move to reopen schools is expected to provide relief to students and parents alike, reinforcing the importance of uninterrupted education even in challenging circumstances.
As schools return to their regular schedules, the focus will be on resuming normal educational activities and addressing any setbacks caused by the recent suspension.
