
Indian Army Kills Intruder, Foils Infiltration Bid Along LoC in Poonch
SRINAGAR, MAY 12, 2026 [VoM News]: Achieving a major success, the Indian Army foiled an infiltration attempt by terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu Kashmir.
As per details available with VoM News, alert Army troops detected the movement of terrorists from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir into Indian territory, triggering a gunbattle.
The incident was reported near the Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch.
The achievement was posted by the White Knight Corps on ‘X’, which reads as:
“𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗕𝗜𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗗
Acting on persistent 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, suspicious movement was detected approximately 300 metres inside own territory in the general area of #KrishnaGhati Sector, #Poonch, along the #LoC at around 4 PM today.
𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗼𝗳 #𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘀 swiftly responded and 𝗳𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗱, ensuring 𝗻𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 #𝗟𝗼𝗖. One intruder has been neutralised.
Own troops continue to dominate the area and maintain a 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 across the sector.
