Indonesia Bus Crash: 16 Killed, 18 Injured After Bus Loses Control
In an unfortunate bus accident, 18 people were killed and 16 people were injured after a bus lost control and crashed on the main island of Java in Indonesia.

As per news reports, the bus, which was travelling from the capital city Jakarta to the ancient royal city of Yogyakarta and had 34 passengers on board, lost control near a toll plaza in Semarang city, said Rescue Agency Chief Budiano.
This unfortunate crash took place around midnight on Monday when the inter-province bus overturned while entering a curved exit ramp at the Krepyak toll road.
According to Budiano, several passengers were trapped inside the bus. Rescue operation officials reached the spot and started the evacuation after 40 minutes, reports the Associated Press.

Nearly 10 people died while being taken to the hospital or during medical treatment. He added that 13 people were seriously injured, while five people are in critical condition, as per the Associated Press.
