Kishtwar, Aug 12, 2024: The District Police Kishtwar has successfully recovered ₹2,01,262 in a significant cybercrime case, reinforcing its commitment to fighting online fraud.
The Cybercrime Investigation Unit, through meticulous efforts, resolved multiple fraud cases, including mobile recharge scams, unauthorized app installations, and malicious Telegram links promoting fraudulent trading platforms like Aviator, Happybet, 11winner, and Skywinner.
Upon receiving several complaints, the Cybercrime Investigation Unit launched an immediate investigation using advanced technical methods.
Their swift action led to the recovery of ₹2,01,262, with ongoing efforts to retrieve more funds as the investigation progresses.
This recent recovery adds to the Unit’s impressive track record, bringing the total amount recovered from various online scams to ₹36,19,768.
The success of these operations highlights the Unit’s effectiveness in combating cybercrime and protecting the public from online threats.
