Rajouri Police Station’s law enforcement team has successfully resolved a theft case, leading to the apprehension of individuals involved in the criminal act. The stolen motorcycles were successfully retrieved from the possession of the arrested suspects.

The incident was reported when Syed Ibrar Hussain, the son of Sabar Hussain Shain, filed a written complaint with the police, detailing the theft of his motorcycle with registration number JK11E 6764 from Kheora, near a mosque. Subsequently, Police Station Rajouri registered a case under FIR No. 528/2023 U/Ss 379 IPC, and an investigative team led by SHO Aejaz Wani initiated the inquiry.

During the course of the investigation, a juvenile suspect (identity withheld) was apprehended. Through interrogation, the juvenile confessed to the crime and implicated his associate, Mohd Saleem, son of Mohd Yousif, a resident of Sarano. Both suspects were duly arrested.

As a result of their statements, a total of seven motorcycles, including the one stolen from Kheora, have been recovered and confiscated in connection with the case.

The investigation is ongoing, with the anticipation of additional recoveries, according to the police.
