Buut, the Iran has made crystall clear that any inspections would be considered only as part of a final agreement with the United States, underscoring continuing differences between the two sides.
The maritime traffic through the key energy route i.e. Strait of Hormuz has continued to recover under a UN-backed arrangement to evacuate about 11,000 seafarers stranded during the earlier disruption.
Earlier, the route remained critical for global oil and liquefied natural gas supplies, affecting the global economy brutally.
Adding the further tensions, two people were killed in an Israeli strike in Nabatieh, Lebanon according to reports. Israel’s defence minister said Israeli forces would not leave southern Lebanon, even if Washington called for a withdrawal.
Meanwhile, Lebanese and Israeli officials are continuing talks in Washington. The United States has proposed creating pilot areas in which Israeli forces would hand over territory to vetted units of the Lebanese army, an arrangement intended to test a phased security transition and reduce the risk of renewed fighting.
