A total of 28 counting centres have been set up for the 90 assembly constituencies across 20 districts in the Union Territory (UT).
Pole confirmed that all necessary preparations are in place, with the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) securely stored in strong rooms at district headquarters.
Strict three-tier security arrangements have been implemented at the counting centres, including checkpoints within a 100-meter perimeter. CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor all activities around the counting areas.
The CEO highlighted that the counting process will begin with postal ballots, followed by EVMs 30 minutes later. Media centres have been set up to ensure timely press access. Lastly, social media will be closely monitored to prevent misinformation.
