Sub- Divisional Administration Padder ensures smooth Yatra for stranded devotees
Kishtwar, July 02 2024: The Sub Divisional Administration, Padder, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, is providing all assistance to stranded devotees/pilgrims of Shri Machail Mata Yatra and Chitto Mata Yatra due to a road blockage at Pathernaki.
The administration has ensured free accommodation to the stranded devotees/pilgrims at the Gulabgarh Yatri Bhawan, along with Langar facilities , to ensure a smooth and comfortable Yatra.
Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav (IAS) SSP Kishtwar, Abdul Qayoom (JKPS) & SDM Padder, Dr. Amit Kumar, JKAS, personally visited the road blockade site at Pathernaki to assess the clearance work, which is underway.
DC Kishtwar has directed GREF authorities to work double shifts to clear the landslide as soon as possible.
Additionally, a tranship/alternate footpath route has been opened for stranded passengers/devotees, with the civil and police administration providing support.
Devotees/pilgrims facing any grievances or problems during the Yatra can report or contact directly to the SDM Office, Padder for prompt assistance.
