Amazon Launches Bazaar to Tap India’s Fast Fashion Market
In a bid to strengthen its position in India’s fast fashion market, e-commerce giant Amazon has rolled out ‘Bazaar’, a dedicated store offering trendy lifestyle products priced under ₹600. This move puts Amazon in direct competition with rivals like Flipkart and Reliance’s Ajio.
The ‘Bazaar’ store features unbranded fashion and lifestyle items including apparel, watches, shoes, jewellery, and more, all priced affordably. Users can access ‘Bazaar’ directly through the Amazon Android app, without the need for a separate download or visit to another website.
With ‘Bazaar’, Amazon aims to capture the attention of budget-conscious shoppers by offering a wide range of stylish products at competitive prices. The store promises fast delivery timelines and potentially zero referral fees for merchants, enhancing the appeal for both buyers and sellers alike.
