The highly anticipated Indian Racing Festival 2024, featuring the Indian Racing League (IRL), the Indian F4 Championship backed by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), and the JK Tyre Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) National Racing Championship (JKNRC), is gearing up for an action-packed season. Spanning across five rounds for each class and encompassing over ten races, this season promises adrenaline-fueled excitement for motorsport enthusiasts.
Partnerships and Promotion: A Collaborative Effort
Led by Racing Promotions Private Limited (RPPL), under the guidance of Hyderabad-based Akhilesh Reddy, the Indian Racing Festival has joined forces with JK Tyre, a pioneering force in introducing diverse motorsport sub-cultures in India. To promote motorsport and engage audiences nationwide, the organizers have planned thrilling roadshows as part of their go-to-market strategy.
Srinagar Spectacular: A Spectacle Against Nature’s Canvas
The festival kicked off its promotional extravaganza with a stunning showcase in Srinagar, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Dal Lake. Spectators were treated to a preview of the upcoming season, with displays of Wolf GB08 cars and Formula 4 cars driven by rising motorsport stars, amidst the serene beauty of Srinagar’s natural landscapes.
Showcasing Legacy and Talent: A Glimpse of Motorsport Mastery
The event celebrated JK Tyre’s legacy in shaping the domestic racing scene, featuring captivating performances ranging from drift shows by India’s drifting champion to superbike demonstrations and thrilling displays of karting prowess by young prodigies. The show highlighted the seamless synergy between man and machine and underscored India’s burgeoning talent in the motorsport arena.
Akhilesh Reddy, Chairman of Racing Promotions Private Limited, expressed gratitude to the Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Department for their support, emphasizing the significance of the event for Indian motorsports. Sanjay Sharma, Head of Motorsport at JK Tyre and Industries, hailed the collaboration as a milestone for Indian motorsport, bridging the gap between grassroots talent and international recognition.
