Man Arrested in Mumbai for Threatening Remarks Against Deputy CM Fadnavis
A 34-year-old man, identified as Kinchak Navale, has been taken into custody by the Mumbai Police on charges of making ‘life-threatening and derogatory’ comments against Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, according to officials.
The arrest, carried out by the Santacruz Police on Sunday, comes after a complaint was lodged by an activist associated with the Shinde group. Navale, hailing from Satara, is now under police custody until March 7, following a case registration based on the activist’s complaint.
This development marks the second arrest in the case, with the earlier apprehension of Yogesh Sawant from the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar’s camp the previous week. After being produced in court, Navale’s remand to police custody until March 7 was confirmed, as informed by the authorities.
