According to Mukhtar Ahmad, Director of the Meteorological Department, the forecast predicts mainly dry weather until January 3rd, followed by generally cloudy conditions between January 4-5.
This period might see very light snow over isolated extreme higher reaches. From January 6-7, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry, without any significant weather activity anticipated until January 7th.
