Indian Air Force AN-32 Transport Aircraft Crashed, Investigation Taken Up
New Delhi, June 13, 2026 [VoM News]: In the early morning hours of the day, reports of crash of an Indian Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 transport aircraft surfaced and later caught the fire at Air Force Station in Jorhat area of Assam.
As per details available with VoM News, the crash took place while landing later triggering the fire. Sooner, the emergency teams were sent to the control the blaze and access the situation.

So far, the cause of the crash is not yet known, whereas the causalities or injuries remain unclear.
An investigation has been launched to probe the matter.
As Antonov AN-32 is a twin-engine military transport aircraft is designed for logistics, troop movement and supply missions, especially in high-altitude and remote areas, extreme weather and difficult terrain makes it one they key transport assets of the force.
