Iran Targets American Military Assets in Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan Following the American Attack
NEW DELHI, JUNE 11, 2026 [VoM News]: Escalating tensions further in the Middle East, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had retaliated against United States assets in the region following the American attacks on key targets inside Iran.
Air sirens and security alerts were activated across the Gulf region as missile operations were reportedly carried out in Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan targeting United States bases and military facilities.
Prior to this, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed strikes on targets inside Iran as part of what it described as a self-defence operation.
United States President Donald Trump defended the action and vowed further strong attacks against Iran. In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated:
> “Iran’s Military is a complete and total mess. Much of it, like their Navy and Air Force, doesn’t even exist anymore – They have been completely defeated. Iran is all talk and no action. The Bully of the Middle East is DEAD!!! They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them, now they will have to pay the price!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
Meanwhile, Iranian media reported American airstrikes on strategic areas including Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Sirik, Minab and locations near Tehran.
Iran has also responded strongly by closing the Strait of Hormuz, a key maritime route through which a major portion of global energy supplies transit.
On the other hand, Israel has also hinted at massive strikes on Iran and continues military operations in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley region, where the casualty figure has reportedly reached 3,700.
As diplomatic efforts to revive negotiations have once again collapsed, the global economy is facing severe pressure, while fears of wider regional instability continue to grow.
