Michael Vaughan Criticizes India’s Recent Performance
Former England captain Michael Vaughan expressed strong criticism of Team India, particularly following their disappointing display in the first Test against South Africa at Centurion.
India faced widespread scrutiny after suffering a crushing innings defeat to South Africa, conceding a lead of 163 runs and collapsing to 131 in the second innings.
Despite Virat Kohli’s resilient 76 off 82 deliveries, India couldn’t salvage the situation.
Vaughan characterized India as the most ‘underachieving’ team globally, emphasizing their inability to secure major honors despite possessing talent and resources.
He highlighted India’s lack of significant victories in recent times, raising concerns about their performance and failure to clinch notable successes over the years.
