
Janipur Police, Jammu Crack Down on Theft: Two Accused Arrested, Stolen Gold Recovered
Jammu, 23.05.2025: The Janipur Police have successfully cracked a theft case, arresting two accused individuals and recovering stolen gold items. On April 6, 2025, a complaint was lodged by Mr. Suresh Sharma regarding the theft of gold items from his residence, leading to the registration of FIR No. 50/2025 U/S 331(3)/305 BNS at Police Station Janipur.
Deepak Kumar was arrested during the investigation and confessed to handing over the stolen gold items to Irfan Mehmood.Today, Irfan Mehmood was arrested, and a gold chain was recovered from his possession.
