WASHINGTON, November 8, 2026 (VoM News): US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee is facing the harsh criticism, and the reason behind this is his controversial remarks.

During the appearance on ‘The Anchor Podcast, hosted by Israeli commentator Amir Tsarfati, Mike Huckabee said, those opoosing the American military action against Iran are linked to spiritual darkness.

He further added Satan had influenced the thinking of those who disagreed with the intervention, leading to the online backlash.

Though the episode was published on October 23, but clips gone viral following the Republican Party’s losses in the US midterm elections, now gaining the attention on global scale.

Huckabee had described the criticism of US military intervention against Iran, including opposition voices from European governments, as a spiritual issue rather than simply a geopolitical disagreement.

His comments triggered criticism on social media, including from conservative commentators in the United States, following the massive defeat of Republicans in Midterms elections.

Andrew Day, senior editor at ‘The American Conservative’, sternly questioned the remarks, writing that Huckabee’s suggestion that opponents of the Iran war were influenced by Satan sounded inappropriate for a diplomatic representative.

Meanwhile, social media users called for Huckabee to be removed from his diplomatic position.
