Jammu and Kashmir BJP Leaders Issue Unconditional Apology and Pledge Discipline
In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced that eight of its leaders, who had previously been issued notices over allegations of indiscipline, have now tendered “unconditional apologies” for their behavior. Furthermore, these leaders have provided a written undertaking, committing not to engage in similar activities in the future.
A senior BJP leader confirmed that in response to the notices they received, the party leaders submitted their apologies without any conditions. Additionally, they have pledged not to partake in anti-party activities or engage in acts of indiscipline moving forward.
The eight leaders who were issued notices include Dr. Ali Mohd Mir, G M Mir, Altaf Thakur, Manzoor Ahmed Bhat, Arif Raja, Bilal Parray, Anwar Khan, and Asif Masoodi. It has been conveyed that the party’s disciplinary committee, taking into account their previous standing within the party and their contributions, is satisfied with the apology, and therefore, the proceedings against them have been closed.
However, it’s crucial to note that these leaders are expected to adhere to the commitments they have made in their undertakings. Failure to do so may result in strict action being taken against them.
This development signals a resolution to the internal issues within the Jammu and Kashmir BJP unit, with a focus on maintaining discipline and unity within the party.
