
ARTO Doda Issues Show-Cause Notice to Biker Over Dangerous Stunts
Doda, Oct 6: The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Doda has issued a show-cause notice to a local biker after a video of him performing risky stunts on public roads went viral on social media.
The notice was served to Tanveer Ahmed, son of Akhter Hussain of Binola, Deyoki, Chirrala, Doda, whose motorbike (JK06B-8733) was featured in the video.
The ARTO stated that the biker’s reckless actions not only endangered his life but also posed a serious risk to pedestrians and other road users.
Authorities have emphasized that such conduct violates traffic rules and can lead to serious accidents and damage to public property. Tanveer Ahmed has been asked to provide a written explanation within seven days, justifying why the registration of his motorbike should not be suspended or cancelled.

The notice warns that failure to respond within the stipulated time will be treated as an admission of guilt, and legal action—including suspension or cancellation of the bike’s registration—will follow.
Copies of the notice have also been sent to the Transport Commissioner J&K, Deputy Commissioner Doda, SSP Doda, Regional Transport Officer Jammu, and Dy. SP Traffic Doda-Kishtwar Axis for necessary action.
