AAP Announces 4th List for Chhattisgarh Assembly Polls
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has unveiled its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming Chhattisgarh assembly elections scheduled for next month. With this announcement, the party, led by Arvind Kejriwal, has now revealed the names of 45 candidates for the Congress-ruled state’s elections. Chhattisgarh’s 90-member assembly will go to the polls in two phases on November 7 and 17.
AAP’s Determination for Chhattisgarh Elections
In a social media post on Sunday night, the AAP declared its fourth list of candidates for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections, wishing them the best of luck and using the hashtag #ChhattisgarhMangeKejriwal (Chhattisgarh demands Kejriwal). The party is optimistic about its chances in this electoral battle.

Political Landscape in Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh has traditionally been a battleground for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress. However, in the 2018 elections, a third front led by the late Ajit Jogi’s Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) emerged. This alliance won seven seats, but the Congress secured a commanding majority with 68 seats. The BJP was reduced to 15 seats. The upcoming elections are an opportunity for the AAP to establish a stronger presence in the state, especially with the JCC (J) facing challenges after Ajit Jogi’s passing.
Other Contesting Parties
The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will contest the elections in alliance with the Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP). The Congress and the BJP have already declared their candidates for most of the seats, with the Congress announcing its candidates for all 90 seats.
