
Two Alleged Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Members Killed in Police Encounter in Haryana
BAHADURGARH, July 4 [VoM News] : As per reports, two alleged members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, each carrying a reward of ₹1 lakh announced by Haryana Police, were killed in an exchange of fire. during a joint operation by the Delhi Police Special Cell and the Haryana Special Task Force (STF) in Bahadurgarh on Saturday. It was also reported, that a Delhi Police constable also injured during the operation.
The operation was launched after intelligence inputs indicated that the two wanted suspects, identified as Pravesh and Himanshu, both residents of Hisar district, were moving in Haryana, as per Delhi Police Special Cell officer Pramod Kushwah.
Police said they were allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi-Hariram alias Harry Boxer-Anil Pandit organised crime network and were wanted in multiple criminal cases.
The duo was also wanted in connection with the daylight murder of a gym operator, Kapil, in Hansi on June 11, an incident captured on CCTV footage.
Haryana STF Superintendent of Police Vikrant Bhushan said the accused were asked to surrender but allegedly opened fire on the police team. Officers returned fire in self-defence, resulting in a brief gunfight.

Both suspects sustained gunshot injuries and were declared dead at a nearby hospital. Delhi Police constable Ankit suffered a bullet injury to his leg and is undergoing treatment. Police said he is out of danger.
A fresh case has been registered at Sadar Police Station in Bahadurgarh, and the encounter will be investigated in accordance with legal procedure.
