Crackdown on Illegal Mining in Rular Zone Of Jammu; 10 Vehicles Seized

In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.

In a surprise operation which was carried out in last few days at different locations in Rural zone of District Jammu.

PP Chowki Choura detained 04 vehicles, include a Dumper bearing registration no. JK02CT-0562, Dumper bearing registration no. JK12B-9094, Dumper bearing registration no. JK11C-3227, a Tractor, bearing registration number JK02BD-1531 all found loaded with mining material (Sand) without form A.

BPP Sandhwan detained 02 tractor trollies including a Tractor trolly without registration number and Tractor trolly without registration number both found loaded with sand without forms A.

Whereas, PS Akhnoor detained dumper bearing registration no JK12C/0085 loaded with sand without form A and PP Pounichak detained tractor trolly without registration no found loaded with sand without form A.

BPP Jogwan detained 02 tractor trollies including a Tractor bearing registration no. JK02BR4616 and a Tractor bearing chassis no. MBNCA49AJRTM31570 both found loaded with sand without forms A.

After detaining of these vehicles District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal actions.

While giving the details SP Rural Jammu, conveyed that Jammu Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area.
