G7 Summit In France; PM Modi to arrive In Evian, France | Meeting With Donald Trump Expected

New Delhi, June 16, 2026 [VoM News]: Narendra Modi – The Prime Minister of India will arrive in Evian, France to attend to G7 Summit completing his final phase of two-nation visit. As per details available, Prime Minister will arrive on Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron is set to welcome him upon his arrival. As the global leaders will meet, there will be discussion on the major global challanges.

The meeting which is aimed at ‘Forging New Partnerships and Rebuilding International Solidarity’ will include leaders from G7 nations, partner countries and international organisations.World Bank and the African Development Bank are also included.

As per details, Prime Minister would likely meet with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the summit.

A meeting with US President Donald Trump is also expected, as the Whitehouse confirmed the Modi-Trump meeting stating there could be a possible review of India-US trade agreement.
