B-52 Bomber Crashes At US Base In California, 8 Feared Dead

New Delhi, June 16, 226 [VoM News]: Shortly after the takeof from Edwards Air Force Base in California, US Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bomber fails to gain the momentum and crashed resulting in eight causalities. There were eight personall boarded in aircraft, all are feared dead.

As per reports, the bomber craft was on its routine test mission and crashes which as per the experts is non-survivable.

A rescue operation was launched, and emergency team worked with hardtoil to rescue, but the black thick smoke visible through aerial footage and images shows the complete destroyal of the aircraft.

So far, the reasons and circumstances led to crash are not yet known and is now further subjected to investigation.

One of the United States’ most iconic long-range bombers, B-52 Stratofortress which was introduced during cold war in 1950s, though gone under numerous upgrades and is considered as a key asset of America’s strategic air power. It could carry nuclear weapons and has been used in multiple conflicts, including Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and recent operations involving Iran.
