India’s Global Voice Strengthens Amid Challenges, PM Modi Says
Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India’s growing global influence, asserting that the country’s voice is getting stronger in a world filled with challenges. During a public rally, PM Modi cited the G20 Summit in Delhi as an example of India’s rising prominence on the international stage. He acknowledged that India has taken long-pending decisions on various issues, including the women’s reservation bill.
PM Modi referenced India’s successful Chandrayaan-3 mission, emphasizing that it reached parts of the moon that no other country had previously explored. He pointed out that India’s strength and capabilities are now being acknowledged worldwide.
People’s Contribution to Change
The prime minister emphasized that the transformation he spoke of is not solely his doing but the result of the people of India who gave him a second chance to serve them. He credited the 140 crore people of the country for the positive changes
PM Modi noted that 13.50 crore people have risen above the poverty line in the last five years. This progress demonstrates that India can overcome poverty and improve living conditions for its citizens.
PM Modi expressed his gratitude to the people of Uttarakhand and described the state as a place where he shares a personal bond with every inch of the land. He shared how the residents of Uttarakhand consider him a family member and celebrate their joys and achievements with him.
Development in Border Areas
The prime minister highlighted the importance of developing border areas, particularly in Uttarakhand. He recognized the previous neglect of these regions, which led to migration, but said that the government is prioritizing their development.
PM Modi’s visit to Uttarakhand included inaugurating and laying the foundation for multiple development projects, which he believes will drive the region’s growth. He also mentioned the record-breaking number of pilgrims for the Char Dham yatra and the significant reconstruction efforts in places like Badrinath and Kedarnath.
