
Pakistani Airstrikes Kill 13 Including 11 Children in Afganistan, Says Taliban Government
NEW DELHI, JUNE 10, 2026 [VoM News]: Overnight airstrikes allegedly carried out by Pakistani forces inside eastern Afghanistan have killed at least 13 people, as per details available with VoM News. Officials stated that the number of casualties could increase, with 11 children reported among the dead.
Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that the airstrikes were carried out during the night when people were asleep in the Afghan provinces of Khost, Kunar and Paktika.
Though Pakistan has not officially confirmed the attacks, the operations conducted near the Afghan border are being viewed as visible and tangible evidence of military action.
Pakistan has repeatedly accused Afghanistan of harbouring and sheltering militants of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), who are responsible for attacks inside Pakistan, allegations that Kabul has denied.

Relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan have remained strained since the Taliban returned to power in 2021.
Cross-border violence between the two countries has so far killed hundreds of civilians, according to recent United Nations findings, raising concerns and highlighting growing instability along the frontier.
