Israel Carried out 3,500 air strikes, Hundreds of Demolition Since the US-mediated Ceasefire : Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam

BEIRUT, June 09, 2026 [VoM News]: Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stated that Israel has carried out nearly 3,500 air strikes and hundreds of controlled demolitions in Lebanon since the ceasefire mediated by the United States took its course, Reuters reported.

Making a bold statement, Nawaf Salam said 3,491 air strikes, 407 controlled explosions and six large-scale demolition operations were conducted between April 17 in Southern Lebanon. The border areas were the most effected one.

Whereas, the libyan authorities warned off the serious humanitarian consequences leading to massive displacement as Hezbollah clashes with Israel also.

After Hezbollah opened the fire toward northern Israel, Israel ranshacked the airstrikes on southern Beirut escalating the tensions.

Amid the massive displacement, and regional pressure, the Lebanese Prime Minister has committed to maintain the ceasefire whereas, Donald Trump suggested that reduced level of fighting is going on in Middle East rather than a complete halt in military action.
