Committed to China, but strategy needs adjustment: Nissan CEO
PARIS, May 7 (Reuters) – Nissan (7201.T), opens new tab is committed to staying in China but the company must change its strategy in the country, Nissan CEO Makoto Uchida told a business conference hosted by the Financial Times in Paris on Tuesday.
Uchida added that Nissan was in talks with partner company Mitsubishi (7211.T), opens new tab over further co-operation in ASEAN countries and that it was also working on a feasibility study with Honda (7267.T), opens new tab over possibly co-operating in some areas and markets.
