Ashiana Housing Hits Record High: Luxury Flats Demand Surges
Shares of Ashiana Housing, a prominent real estate firm in India, soared by 19% to an all-time high of ₹398.75 apiece during today’s trading session, closing at ₹382.50 apiece, reflecting a 14.33% uptick. This remarkable rally has propelled the stock to deliver multibagger returns, witnessing a surge of 118.60% over the past year and an impressive 186% over three years.
Stellar Performance and Demand Dynamics
The surge in Ashiana Housing’s stock price follows a significant announcement made by the company regarding the successful sale of 224 luxury flats in Gurugram for ₹440 crore within just 15 minutes of their launch. This unprecedented response underscores the growing demand for upscale residences in India, driven by increasing disposable income and evolving lifestyle preferences.
Ashiana Housing’s Joint Managing Director, Ankur Gupta, attributed the overwhelming demand to the company’s brand value and proven execution track record. The trend of investing in luxury flats is particularly pronounced in major metropolitan areas like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore, where affluent individuals seek residences equipped with top-tier amenities and luxuries.
