Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6: Expected Features and Specifications

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 later this year alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6, both expected to feature substantial upgrades over their predecessors. However, recent leaks suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 might retain the same battery capacity and charging speed as its predecessor.

According to tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will come with a 4,400mAh battery and support 25W fast charging, identical to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. This information aligns with a listing on the 3C (China Compulsory Certification) website.

Expected to be unveiled in July, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 could feature a titanium frame and be offered in dark blue, light pink, and silver color options. It may be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy SoC and boast 16GB of RAM.

Last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 5, priced at Rs. 1,54,999 for the base variant, featured a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex display on the inside and a 6.2-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display on the cover. It ran on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform with 12GB of RAM and sported a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera.

While the battery and charging specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 may not see significant upgrades, other enhancements and features are expected to elevate the overall user experience of Samsung’s flagship foldable smartphone.
