In a fiery speech delivered in Jodhpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at the Ashok Gehlot-led government in Rajasthan for its alleged involvement in corruption. He accused what he called the “paper leak mafia” of jeopardizing the futures of countless young individuals in the state, who are now demanding justice.

    Unveiling the ‘Red Diary’ Controversy

During his address, Prime Minister Modi made reference to the controversial ‘red diary,’ which reportedly contains records of alleged corruption within the Congress government. He asserted that exposing this alleged corruption requires the formation of a BJP government in Rajasthan. The ‘red diary’ in question was supposedly in the possession of former Rajasthan minister Rajendra Gudha, who claimed it contained financial transactions involving the chief minister.

    Critique of Congress Priorities

Prime Minister Modi did not hold back in his criticism of the Congress party, asserting that they have failed to prioritize the concerns of farmers and soldiers. He claimed that the Congress is more focused on securing votes than serving the best interests of the people.

    BJP’s Vision for Rajasthan

In contrast, Prime Minister Modi outlined the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) vision for Rajasthan. He expressed the BJP’s goal to elevate the state to the number one position in tourism and promised to bring development to every corner of Rajasthan upon forming a government.

Assembly elections are slated to be held in Rajasthan later this year, making the political landscape in the state particularly charged and competitive.
