Amidst the dynamic activities of the 5th edition of the India-Japan joint exercise ‘DHARMA GUARDIAN‘ in Rajasthan, Lieutenant General Togashi Yuichi, Commanding General, Eastern Army, Japan Ground Self Defence Force, visited the exercise site. His presence on the 8th day of the joint exercise highlighted the commitment to strengthening collaboration between the two nations’ armies.

Lieutenant General Yuichi, during his visit, not only assessed the progress but also provided words of encouragement to both Japanese and Indian contingents. This gesture aimed at fortifying the camaraderie between the Armies and amplifying the collaborative efforts undertaken during the exercise.

A notable highlight was a mock drill featuring the capture of militants hiding in a house, employing specially trained animals such as dogs and eagles. The Japanese contingent, represented by troops from the 34th Infantry Regiment, collaborates with the battalion from the Rajputana Rifles, representing the Indian Army.
