PM Narendra Modi to Unveil Development Projects Worth Over Rs 13,500 Crore in Telangana
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for a series of developmental projects in Mahabubnagar district, Telangana, on October 1. These projects, totaling more than Rs 13,500 crore, span crucial sectors such as road infrastructure, railways, petroleum, natural gas, and higher education.
Key Projects to Be Inaugurated and Launched:
- Road Infrastructure: PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for key road projects under the Nagpur-Vijayawada Economic Corridor. This includes a 108 km long four-lane access-controlled greenfield highway from Warangal to Khammam section of NH-163G and a 90 km-long four-lane access-controlled greenfield highway from Khammam to Vijayawada section of NH-163G, with a combined cost of around Rs 6,400 crore.
- Road Expansion: The Prime Minister will also dedicate to the nation a road project, the four-laning of the 59 km long Suryapet to Khammam section of NH-365BB, developed under the Bharatmala Pariyojana at a cost of approximately Rs 2,460 crore.
- Railway Connectivity: PM Modi will inaugurate the 37 km Jaklair-Krishna New Railway Line, bringing previously inaccessible areas of Narayanpet district onto the railway network, at a cost of more than Rs 500 crore. He will also flag off the Hyderabad (Kacheguda)-Raichur-Hyderabad (Kacheguda) train service, connecting districts in Telangana and Karnataka.
- LPG Pipeline: The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the ‘Hassan-Cherlapalli LPG Pipeline Project,’ which facilitates safe, cost-efficient, and eco-friendly LPG transportation and distribution from Hassan in Karnataka to Cherlapalli near Hyderabad, at a cost of about Rs 2,170 crore.
- Petroleum Pipeline: PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the ‘Multi-Product Petroleum Pipeline of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) from Krishnapatnam to Hyderabad (Malkapur),’ covering 425 kilometers and costing Rs 1,940 crore.
