Apni Party President Advocates Dynastic Political Cleanup, Labels Effort as ‘Jihad’ to Liberate JK
On Saturday, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari emphasized the significance of dismantling dynastic political entities like the National Conference (NC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), likening it to a form of “jihad” for his party. He underscored that Apni Party’s primary objective is to liberate Jammu & Kashmir from the influence of NC, PDP, and similar parties, which have plunged the region into profound uncertainty.
During a press interaction at a joining ceremony in Srinagar, Bukhari asserted that Apni Party will persist in its struggle to fulfill the desires and aspirations of the people, steadfastly resisting the sway of parties deemed as detrimental to the public interest. He criticized the National Conference and the People’s Democratic Party for contributing to the instability in Jammu & Kashmir, describing the endeavor to uproot dynastic political parties as nothing short of a “jihad” for his party. “I am optimistic that the electorate will participate actively in the elections, delivering a resounding rebuff to dynastic political entities like NC and PDP, which have led us into profound hardships. For us, it is a form of jihad to safeguard J&K from their influence,” remarked Bukhari.
Since the inception of Apni Party on March 8, 2020, Bukhari highlighted the unwavering efforts of its leaders to connect with the populace and address their challenges using all available means. He emphasized that Apni Party is dedicated to serving the people and confronting issues directly. “Why can’t we live harmoniously within the Union of India, where more than 20 crore Muslims reside?” he questioned.
Bukhari advocated for providing the people of J&K with every right within the constitutional framework and appealed for a mandate to enable Apni Party to offer a dignified life to the youth. He reiterated that Apni Party’s primary goal is to free society from the dominance of NC, PDP, and BJP, accusing them of undermining the structure of J&K for their political gains.
Expressing hope for Apni Party to form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir, Bukhari envisioned transforming the region into a center of peace, prosperity, and development. Commending the people for their role in maintaining law and order since August 2019, he credited the peace in the region to the cooperation of the residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
