LG-Sinha Approves Compensation for Baramulla and warwan Road Accident Victims
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir conveyed profound grief on Wednesday regarding the unfortunate road accidents that occurred in the Baramulla and Kishtwar districts of the region.
He has sanctioned a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each for the Next of Kin (NoK) of the individuals who lost their lives in the accidents and an additional amount of Rs 1 lakh for those who sustained injuries.
In response to the tragic events, the office of the Lieutenant Governor, expressing deep sorrow over the incidents, posted on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), stating, “Profoundly saddened by the tragic accidents in Baramulla & Kishtwar. My heartfelt condolences go out to the families who have lost their dear ones. Wishing a swift recovery for those who are injured.”
