Oppo debuted the Android 14-based ColorOS 14 earlier in the year, boasting enhanced performance with its Trinity Engine and an upgraded Aquamorphic Design.

The stable version began its global rollout in November for select devices, and now, the company has unveiled its December rollout timeline.

In a recent community post, Oppo confirmed the commencement of the stable ColorOS 14 update rollout for users of Oppo Reno 8 Pro and Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ in India.

These devices, initially shipping with ColorOS 12.1 and 13.1, respectively, now receive the Android 14-based UI skin. Notably, other handsets currently running on ColorOS 14 include Oppo Find N2 Flip, Oppo Find X5 Pro, and Oppo Find X5, with additional devices slated for the update soon.

The ColorOS 14 update introduces Aqua Dynamics design and aquamorphic-themed ringtones, enhancing the visual appeal.

It integrates AI-powered Smart Touch, allowing users to select text, images, and videos across system and third-party apps, collecting them in the File Dock for quick content sharing through split-screen or floating windows.

The update’s Trinity Engine claims to optimize chipset and RAM performance while improving smartphone energy efficiency. Oppo Reno 10 Pro+, launched at Rs. 54,999 for its 12GB + 256GB variant, features Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 100W wired SuperVOOC charging.

Its specifications include a 6.74-inch AMOLED 3D curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ support, along with a robust camera setup.

On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro houses a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC and 80W wired Super Flash charging with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and a versatile triple rear camera unit, complemented by a 32-megapixel front camera sensor.
