Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra criticized Union Minister Giriraj Singh for his ‘thumka’ remark against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Moitra accused Singh’s ministry of embezzling Rs 7000 crore from MGNREGA wages and emphasized that he should refrain from commenting on importance.
Denying Singh’s denial of using the term “thumke lagana,” Moitra called the BJP a party of liars.
She stated that the people of West Bengal dislike the BJP due to its misogyny and aversion to women in positions of authority.
While the TMC hopes for an apology, Moitra expressed skepticism given Singh’s denial.
