Confirmed details about the OnePlus 12 include a ProXDR display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits and 2K resolution, earning DisplayMate’s A+ certification. It will operate on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 on top. The device is set to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will feature a Sony LYTIA LYT808 primary rear sensor, accompanied by a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.

Anticipated Additional Models and Global Launch

While OnePlus has only confirmed the base model so far, speculations suggest the possible introduction of a OnePlus 12R, following the OnePlus 11R. Tipster Max Jambor hints at a global launch for the OnePlus 12 series in January 2024, although specific models in this series are yet to be confirmed.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, it includes a 5,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC charging. The phone’s camera setup comprises a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto shooter, with a 16-megapixel front camera.
