OnePlus Open, the foldable smartphone launched globally and in India in October, has received a significant software update adding eSIM support, enhancing its connectivity features. This update, with firmware version 13.2.0.116, also brings system performance improvements and bug fixes to the device.
Key Features of OnePlus Open
- Display: The phone boasts a 7.82-inch 2K Flexi-fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.31-inch 2K LTPO 3.0 Super Fluid AMOLED outer screen. It offers high touch sampling rates, peak brightness levels, and is protected by Ultra Thin Glass material.
- Processor and Storage: Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and Adreno 740 GPU, it offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 inbuilt storage.
- Operating System: The device ships with OxygenOS 13.2 and supports dual nano SIMs.
- Camera: It features a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera setup, including a 48MP primary sensor, a 64MP telephoto shooter, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, there’s a 20MP front camera on the inner display and a 32MP camera on the outer panel.
- Battery and Charging: The OnePlus Open is equipped with a 4,800mAh battery, supporting 67W SuperVOOC charging.
- Connectivity and Security: It offers a range of connectivity options, including 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. For security, the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
- Pricing: In India, the sole 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at Rs. 1,39,999 and is available in Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black colors.
