Temporary Truce in Russia-Ukraine War Announced by President Trump
A temporary halt has been reported in the Russia-Ukraine war as United States President Donald Trump has announced a ceasefire agreement, which would be effective from May 9 till May 11, 2026.
In a social media post on ‘Truth Social’, Donald Trump announced that both sides have agreed to suspend hostile attacks and initiate the release of prisoners in exchange from both sides.
President Trump expressed that both sides would take it as an inspiring step towards peace.
