
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s Promises in Chhattisgarh Rally
Congress Leader Outlines Pledges if Party Retains Power
In a rally at Jalbandha in Chhattisgarh’s Khairagarh assembly segment, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra unveiled a series of promises for the state if the Congress retains power. Her pledges include:
1. Waiving SHG Loans: Congress plans to waive the loans of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and those availed by women under the Saksham Yojna.
2. Subsidized Cooking Gas Cylinders: A new scheme called “Mahtari Nyay Yojana” will provide a Rs 500 subsidy per gas cylinder to women.
3. Free Treatment for Accident Victims: Under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme, free treatment will be offered to road and other accident victims.
4. Upgrading Schools: Approximately 6,000 state-run higher secondary and high schools will be upgraded to Swami Atmanand English and Hindi medium schools.
5. Free Electricity: If Congress wins, they will provide free electricity up to 200 units.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the BJP and asked the voters to choose between those who mislead in the name of religion and those who work for development and welfare.
