
75 Baloch Liberation Army Militants Killed in Balochistan Security Operations, Pakistan Accuses India & Afganistan
Islamabad, July 11, 2026 [VoM News]: Pakistan says 75 Baloch Liberation Army Militants were killed during Balochistan Security Operations over several days.
As per Assosiated Press report, Pakistani security forces have killed atleast these insurgents during multi-day operations in Balochistan.
A strong military response in retiliation has been taken following a series of coordinated attacks that left dozens of security personnel dead, as per officials.
Officials say the operation which stated late Monday, has been carried out by Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and police. Further adding that operation was carried out after militants from the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) allegedly attacked a police post near Mangi Dam, a key water source for Quetta and nearby areas.
Atleast, nine police personnel and 15 attackers were killed during the initial assault, where as, the attackers abducted 18 police officers, who were later found dead in the nearby mountains after being blindfolded and shot, as per officials.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during a visit to Quetta on Thursday, met the families of those killed and pledged that those responsible would be brought to justice.
The government also announced compensation of 11.1 million Pakistani rupees for the family of each police officer killed in the attacks.
Pakistan has once again accused the Afganistan for harbouring and providing the shelter to militants. It has alleged that the BLA and the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) operate from sanctuaries in Afghanistan and receive support from India.
Meanwhile, both the Kabul and New Delhi have denied the allegations.
