
PCPG Meeting Held at Surinsar to Strengthen Police-Public Cooperation
In a bid to enhance community engagement and strengthen police-public cooperation, a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held today at Surinsar.
The meeting was chaired by SDPO Nagrota and SHO Jhajjar Kotli, along with IC PP Manwal, and saw the active participation of the local police team.
Approximately 25 to 30 prominent residents and shopkeepers from the Surinsar Lake vicinity attended the meeting. During the session, the officers stressed the importance of community vigilance and proactive communication with law enforcement agencies.

Participants raised several issues some concerning the police department and others related to the civil administration. The officers assured the attendees that the concerns raised would be taken up with the relevant authorities for appropriate redressal.
Addressing the gathering, SDPO Nagrota urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or movement in the area without delay.
The meeting concluded with a mutual understanding to continue such engagements regularly to foster stronger community police relations.
