    Rajasthan’s assembly elections witnessed over 40 percent of the electorate casting their votes by 1 pm on Saturday, indicating a robust turnout.

    Early Voting Figures

    The polling for 199 assembly constituencies commenced at 7 am, and by 11 am, the voting percentage was recorded at 24.74. Kaman and Tijara assembly constituencies reported the highest turnout by mid-morning, with 38.56 percent and 34.08 percent, respectively.

    Continued Polling and Voter Participation

    Voting is scheduled to continue until 6 pm, with more than 5.25 crore voters across the state making their choices among 1,862 candidates vying for seats in these constituencies.

    Election in Karanpur Postponed

    The Karanpur assembly constituency in Sriganganagar will witness a postponed election due to the death of a Congress candidate. The rest of the state proceeds with the electoral process, with vote counting set for December 3.
