Parihar has proposed an amendment in the guidelines governing the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), which would enable MLAs to directly extend assistance to victims of natural calamities. He argued that such a provision would ensure timely relief to families whose homes and properties have been severely damaged, addressing their immediate needs in an effective manner.
“The affected families are under great distress and are in urgent need of support. Allowing MLAs to use CDF directly for such situations will help deliver quick assistance,” Parihar wrote.
